Has anyone posted the Newbury Comics exclusive colored vinyl yet? I'd like to know how it sounds.

i have no complaints as well. was expecting a heavier vinyl for that price but it's newbury comics.

I just got around to spinning this version of the record last night and thought it sounded really great: no surface noise (I did run it through a spin clean first), and clean with good separation. Though I don't have any of the previous versions to compare it to... Cheers!

My copy of this release is on very quiet vinyl with only the slightest surface noise (no cleaning). The sound stage is moderately wide with good separation. This particular recording is thin on the bottom end so the highs are out in front, crisp and slightly bright. Overall, the tone of this recording is somewhat cool but the vocals maintain a clean, natural tone. The overall sound is quite delicate with interesting detail. I recommend this release. The first two songs from the b side have a lot of noises like scratches. The noises resembles intermittent crackling and last 1 to 2 seconds. Am I the only one to have this problem?
