Such an amazing release, outstanding tracks, detroit techno/electro at its best!

One of my favourite records of the last 10 years or so. It's a near perfect take on Detroit Techno, or at least ERP's vision of it. There's a nice old school quality to the productions on this EP. It's not too bright & flashy. It sounds more old school. Like it comes from a time when people were just putting out the fantastic music they were making without the kind of technical/engineering know-how that comes with years of training & experience ..... I've probably not explained that very well at all!! I think (hope) people that know the music (early Techno from the late 80's) will understand where I'm coming from. Anyway, wicked, wicked EP. 10/10

Second release by Gerard Hanson on Down Low Music, probably a much anticipated one. With its deep and dubby sounds it bears some likelihood with dlVEXT1, but rolls more in a melancholic vein (like Delsin, Arne Weinberg). On the B-side it steps subtly on the electro fields. Again a mesmerising oeuvre by the man from Dallas.
