Looped is a real quality track and deffo one of Kiasmos best tracks so far.

Has a mistake on the record label. It says to play the B-Side (Burnt) at 45rpm. It should be played at 33rpm.

There is no mistake on the label -- it says to play it at 45 RPM, and it's correct. Play it at 45 RPM, then listen to the mp3 versions (which is timed). Same version.

unmasked

Side A has a playing fault on it....track A. 'Looped' sounds dreadful. I played 7 copies in store on the day, all have the same fault. Track B also sounds muffled and poor. Apparently its a fault with the pressing. I'm hoping for free reissues sent to owners, but no word from the record company? Side B is OK...which is good as the song is amazing. But its a shame the pressing could not have been top notch! I'd steer clear of buying this if you haven't already

My copy sounds absolutely fine, plays great on both sides. Sounds like your local store got a bad batch.

Or is the digital release a slightly different version to the vinyl. The digital starts off my slower? The vinyl edition might be shorter and jumps straight into it???

Hmm, just as a FYI, 'Looped' has very vinyl-like noise in the track itself, most noticeable at the beginning but I believe it's recurs through most of the track. At first I was miffed that mine was just a poor pressing, but upon re-listening to the digital version the noise is just part of the song itself, assuming that's the fault you're referring to. Always ironic to find songs pressed on vinyl that purposefully add vinyl-noise effects. That being said, I thought my copy sounded pretty good when I first listened to it.
