Beaver Cleaver is a wonky if not slightly amusing song that you might hear at a bizarre carnival. Enzyme Records called it Bumpy Clowncore! I wonder if it was written due to the unexpected success of Cameltoe from his previous record, Deadly Force Is Authorized. It's not bad, but the Bumpy Clowncore sound gets a bit boring after a while. Interesting song and a definite departure from Nosferatu's more well known tracks.

Knock Out is the knock out track on this vinyl. Despite starting with a long introduction of beats, the breakdown here is excellent. Atmospheric pad and a stunning melody that really works well. The samples are well placed and well chosen, my favourite is, "I'll take you out like a cassette deck." The long outro is great for doing a nice long mix. Knock Out became more popular after Scott Brown played it on his Bonkers 16 mix. I distinctly remember people requesting the song when I played at parties during this time. A timely reminder on how good melodic Millennium Hardcore was and still is.

Of the four tracks presented on this record, Disorder Of The Mind is the one I never played, since its overshadowed by the other three. On closer inspection, its actually a quality Darkcore track that would be at home on Enzyme K7 or Supreme Intelligence. The kickdrum is noticeably more distorted here.

The Underground Stream came out on the amazing A Gathering Of Styles on the 10th release of Enzyme Records. It was much slower with an abundance of great sounds but with a rough as guts kickdrum. Out of all the Nosferatu tracks he could choose from, The Underground Stream is a bold choice by Dione. With his own E-Noid styled kickdrum, Dione completes the record with a damn good remix. Using the same Dark-ish melody and fairground sound effect, it almost sounds like his own track that he would have done on DNA Records, which may explain why he chose this song to remix.

During the 2000's, Erwin Van Kan was on fire, dope record after dope record, solidifying his place at the top of Dutch Hardcore and a technically excellent DJ to boot. Never Met Equals is an example of his diverse creativity and how amazing Enzyme Records was during the first decade of this century.
